  •      3/4 cup liquid smoke 
  •      2 cups cider vinegar

  •      2 teaspoons ground black pepper

  1. Prepare your grill for indirect cooking (cooking with the lid closed) and preheat it to 225 degrees F.
  2. Unwrap your brisket and trim away any large chunks of fat from the meat.
